If you want to get rich, no matter how inexperienced you are in investment, then one of the best places to start is with the book the Zurich Axioms and here we will look at some that you can apply to forex trading to supercharge your gains. . . When dealing with risk, you have to see it as opportunity manage it and love it, as its your route to trading success The book teaches you to take risks and meaningful ones at the right time which is what you have to do to make money in forex. You have to manage risk and the Axioms, will show you how. Several of the Axioms do not conform to traditional wisdom but don’t let that worry you, most forex traders lose, yet the Swiss speculators who devised them became rich and the proof as they say is in the results. Let’s look at the major Axiom on risk and how its view is very different to what most so called experts teach. Axiom 1: On Risk “Worry is not a sickness but a sign of health. If you are not worried, you are not risking enough. Put your money at risk. Don’t be afraid to get hurt a little. . . Worry is the hot and tart sauce of life. Once you get used to it, you enjoy it”. Most people are so afraid of risk they actually create it in forex trading. They end up having stops so close their bound to get stopped out or think they can make a regular income etc and then they get the reality check. Related to the above Major Axiom are two minor ones which most forex traders would be wise to learnMinor Axiom I”Always play for meaningful stakes”. How many times do you hear experts tell you to risk 2% of your equity? All the time but for a forex trader with a small account the reward isn’t going to be much say you have $1,000 and risk 2% that’s $20 bucks! If your stop is that close. Then you are going to lose quickly. My own view has always been look to risk 10 - 20% of your equity. If the opportunity looks good hit it hard and go for a meaningful gain. This isn’t being rash it’s how to win and if you don’t like doing this then forex may not be for you. Minor Axiom II”Resist the allure of diversification”Diversification is another word for diluting your gains and if you diversify on a small account you will end of getting no where. Why on earth, would you want to simply diversify when you have a great high odds trade? All you will do will see your great trade diluted by one that’s probably an also ran. Forget diversifying and hit the high odds trades with all you have and concentrate your effort on that trade. You don’t need to trade often be patient and wait for the high odds trades. Sure most experts don’t agree with the above and it’s not conventional wisdom but how many traders are so frightened of risk they never take enough risk and get stopped out by volatility, or listen by so called experts, who tell them forex trading isn’t risky, when of course it is by its very nature. The truth is forex trading is risky and if you learn to love risk, play for meaningful stakes and hit the high odds trades hard, you can win and make triple digit profits.

The saddest part about this photo is the fact that it is said to have been taken the same day that Jackie Kennedy was taken for a ride to the hospital for an emergency C-Section and gave birth to their still-born child. Professionals tested the photo’s validity and claim that it is indeed authentic. This is the Most Important Rule of Investing to Build Your Wealth

The most important rule of investing is probably not what you think. A friend of mine recently bought a $30 stock that suddenly fell to $20. He invested quite a bit into this stock - so now he’s having trouble sleeping. He wants to ‘ride it out’ until his stock returns to $30, but in the meantime, he’s sick over this! When he told me about it, I realized that his main trading focus in on finding an undervalued company that’s about to soar! If he can find such a company, he’ll make a killing! His emphasis is on MAKING money. But that’s why most individual traders generally do poorly in the stock market. Most successful investors would agree that the #1 most important rule of investing is: “Don’t Lose Money. ” It’s critically important to understand that in order to recoup a loss, a stock will need to achieve a higher percentage gain than it lost. Huh? Let’s go over a simple example to clarify what I’m talking about. Let’s say I bought a stock for $30 a share and it lost 33% of its value by falling to $20. BUT, when that $20 stock achieves a 33% gain, its price will be at only $26. 60 - not $30 yet. In order for that $20 stock to return to its previous price of $30, it will need to achieve a 50% gain! A 33% loss requires a 50% gain to break even. How often does ANY stock quickly increase in value by 50%? Not often. A 50% loss in value requires a 100% gain to break even. Its value needs to DOUBLE! You can grow old waiting for that to happen! Therefore, the #1 rule of investing is not about making money, it’s about cutting your losses short. Big losses are very difficult to recoup. We all know people who lost a huge chunk of their retirement accounts due to our crazy market. If they were focused on the rule “Don’t lose money”, they’d still have their nest eggs intact. Always implement a simple strategy called a “stop-loss. “ A “stop-loss” is a trading feature that will sell your stock automatically and immediately if the stock value falls below a certain price. It “stops your losses. “ If you buy a $30 stock, you might set a “stop-loss” point of $27. 50 so that if the stock suddenly falls in price, it will automatically sell your shares on the way down. In our example of a $30 stock that fell to $20, you would have sold at $27. 50 and avoided a 33% loss - if you had implemented a “stop-loss” value. You can also use the “stop-loss” feature to lock in profits. For example, let’s say you purchase a stock for $30 and set the “stop-loss” point at $27. But as you hoped, the stock price goes up to $35. That’s the time to move your “stop-loss” price up to $34. You can get a separate business property insurance policy through just about any insurance agency, or you can possibly save money by buying it through the same company who insures your home. Oftentimes a business insurance policy will roll two or three of these types of insurance into one, and this could be a good way to go.
